Shamrock Community Business Partner Program

Saint Patrick High School has consistent interest year-over-year from Alumni and external parties, at an individual and organization level, to support our students. The Shamrock Community Business Partner Program, formerly the Green and Gold Mentorship Society, provides support for the newly implemented CTE programming in the form of finances, Internships, Employment, Career Treks (field trips), Sponsorships, Guest Speakers, Class Mentors, and Job Shadows.

THE VISION

The intent of the Shamrock Community Business Partner Program is for community mentors and partners to support our academic pathways including Engineering, Law, Education, Physical Education, World Languages, Sciences, Fine and Performing Arts, English, Mathematics, Public Safety and more.

The Shamrock Alumni Network spans over 13,000 in the Chicagoland area and beyond and each year, they play an integral part in the success of our students after high school and college. Philosophically, we believe that strong, consistent connection between our alumni and current students/recent graduates fosters continued interest and continuous growth of our storied institution.

GET INVOLVED

Provide a student with the opportunity to intern at your organization over a semester (about 4 ours per week) and help with relevant tasks.

Promote your job opportunities to students with our online job board. We can also host vou at our schools for a hiring or interview event.

Welcome students at your location on a career-based field trip to receive a tour and learn about career opportunities at your company.

Volunteer to speak to a class or group of students related to your career path. Give students insights about your career journey.

Offer to have a student shadow you at your workplace and conduct an informational interview about the day to day life in your career.

Work with one of our classes to mentor students on a project or assign a project to them that is authentic work needed at your organization.
