Chairman Emeritus of the Saint Patrick High School Board, and a 1952 graduate of “old” St. Pat’s.
Mr. Stahl presently holds the position of Chairman of PFS Group, a real estate financial investment service. His vast experience in the real estate industry as a licensed real estate broker, licensed insurance broker, appraiser, consultant, developer and syndicator dates back to 1955.
Having sold his Century 21 interests in the early 1990’s, Lowell was quick to enter into numerous other business ventures, one of which was to purchase LABE Bank. Under his Chairmanship and inspirational leadership, LABE Bank registered incredible growth and success, and he successfully sold it in the fall of 2005.
Perhaps more than most, Lowell recognizes that a value centered education is the primary ingredient needed for the success and stability of our country, and he pledges his energies and leadership to insure that kind of education continues to be a part of Saint Patrick’s future.
He has honored the Christian Brothers by his acceptance of the Lasallian Award in 1990, by his willingness to be named a Bene Fest Honoree in June 1992, and by his gracious acceptance of the General Chairmanship of the first-ever Saint Patrick Capital Campaign, which began in October 1994.
His first generous pledge commitment merited the naming of our Vision 2000 facilities expansion as the Lowell I. Stahl Cultural Centre. His second transformational gift resulted in the renaming of the Saint Patrick Performing Arts Centre to the Stahl Family Theatre.
In 2000, Lowell and his wife Nancy (d. Nov. 18, 2006) were the recipients of the Crystal Shamrock Award, and in October 2005 Lowell received the President’s Counsellor II Award.
