HOCKEY
Shamrock Hockey split the weekend with a big win on Saturday against the Spartans. After a hard fought, back and forth game, sophomore Joey Guerra scored with 6.9 seconds remaining to push the Shamrocks past the Spartans 5-4! It was Guerra’s second of the night. Junior Jacob Janata also scored twice and sophomore Jack Ownes scored as well. Senior Captain Joe Simz had 3 assists and sophomore Zack Raczynski also had an assist. On Sunday night Shamrock Hockey fell to 2nd place Crystal Lake South in another hard fought game losing 6-3. Joey Guerra and Jacob Janata both scored and sophomore defense-men Billy Pattison added a goal and an assist.
