The Saint Patrick volleyball team is headed to the state.
The Shamrocks defeated Von Steuben for a sectional championship on Tuesday, May 31, earning the right to return to the state tournament for the first time since 2010.
St. Pat’s will take on Lake Zurich in the tournament opener at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Hoffman Estates High School. If the Shamrocks win the match, they would play either New Trier or Lincoln-Way East in the state semifinals at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, with the state championship and third-place game taking place later that day.
