The Shamrocks cross country team hit several individual milestones in their last meet, the DePaul College Prep Ram Invitational/Catholic Cup, on Saturday, September 8th.
Led by sophomore Sergio Mendieta, who ran a season best time of 17:06, the varsity team finished 7th out of 31 teams. Mendieta placed 13th overall, earning himself an individual medal and six of the seven varsity runners ran career or season personal best times.

This weekend, the team will compete in the Whitney Young Invitational (Saturday, 9 am). Next weekend they have meets on both Saturday (Niles West Invitational, 9 am) and Sunday (Ida Crown Invitational, 2 pm).
