Saint Patrick High School is pleased to announce the following Shamrocks have been named Students of the Month for February 2021.
Name: Oracio Vega
Year: Sophomore
Grade School: River Grove
Reason for Nomination: Oracio is always well prepared in Chinese class since the first day of the 2nd semester. He puts a lot of effort into doing his assignments correctly, asks questions or asks for help when needed. He is an excellent role model of the class.
Name: Anthony DiBalsamo
Year: Junior
Grade School: Ebinger
Reason for Nomination: Anthony is a popular, outstanding student. He is a member of the football and baseball teams and also volunteers at the Chicagoland Food Depository. He’s very motivated!
Name: Jacob Perry
Year: Junior
Grade School: Elm Middle
Reason for Nomination: Jacob is an outstanding student who was recently Athlete of the Week. He is a member of the bowling and basketball teams with outstanding academic achievement.
Name: Franklin Sinchi
Year: Junior
Grade School: St. Bartholomew
Reason for Nomination: Despite all of the challenges that come with remote learning, Franklin, who is full time remote, has not only survived, but thrived as a student in Business Incubator. He has developed an excellent grasp of the key entrepreneurship concepts and has become the leader of his business team through the example he sets in class everyday. His level of engagement and positive attitude are infectious – in a very good way! The students and his teacher are fortunate to have him as part of their class.
