The Shamrocks football team will be returning to Soldier Field to begin the 2017 campaign.
Saint Patrick will open its season at the home of the Chicago Bears on Friday, Aug. 25, and will once again be taking on St. Rita. The High School Football Kickoff Classic game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
Last season, the Shamrocks defeated St. Rita 47-44 in a wild opener at Soldier Field.
