Shamrock Football finished the regular season with a 17-7 win on Friday at St. Viator, securing a spot in the IHSA 5A State Playoffs. The Shamrocks finished the season with a 5-4 record with their four losses coming against #2 De La Salle Collegiate High School – Warren, MI (8-0), #1 Loyola Academy (9-0), #13 Fenwick (7-2) and #15 St. Rita (7-2).
#13 Shamrocks head to Sterling, IL this Saturday, October 30 where they’ll face the #4 Golden Warriors of Sterling High School in Round 1 of the IHSA 5A Playoffs. The game will be played at Roscoe Eades Stadium (1608 4th Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the gate. Kickoff is at 2 pm (gates open at 12:30 pm).
