On Saturday, the “Stud Section” showed up in huge numbers to watch the Shamrocks defeat Taft in the “Battle of the Kennedy Expressway” earning the student section Athlete of the Week honors for the first time. “Our ‘Stud Section’ was tremendous at the Taft game,” said Head Coach Mike Bailey, “They always have been and always will be the heart and soul of the basketball program.”

Junior Justin Walker had 14 points and six steals in the non-conference game as Saint Patrick beat Taft 69-33. Sophomore Dominic Galati added 15 points and junior Jakob Medina had 11 points.
