Senior Hurdler Jack Bullock advances to State

The Shamrock Track & Field team competed in the IHSA 2A Sectional on Friday, May 17^th at Elmwood Park High School.

First year track athlete Justin Walker ’19 finished in 6^th place in the High Jump.

The 4×400 Relay Team (Jayden Griffin ’22, Sergio Mendieta ’21, Cristian Salas ’20 and Jack Bullock ’19) finished in 6^th place.

Mendieta finished in 6^th place in the 800-Meter Run.

Second place ESCC conference finisher Griffin finished in 6^th place in the 400-Meter Dash.

Finally, Bullock finished as the 2019 ESCC Conference 110-Meter High Hurdle Champion. He also finished as the 2019 Sectional Champion in both the 110-Meter High Hurdles as well as the 300 Intermediate Hurdles which qualifies him to compete in this weekend’s IHSA State Championship at Eastern Illinois University.
