With the forecast calling for unusually cold weather, we will have a Cyber Day on Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31. Students are directed to check their teacher’s websites by 9:00 AM on both Wednesday and Thursday and complete their assignments by 4:00 PM on each day.
Coaches and moderators of activities will keep their participants alerted for updates to practices and activities.
With the weather returning to somewhat normal conditions on Friday, we will be back in school at the regular time at 7:45 AM. Saint Patrick will provide the regular bus service on that day. We expect to see all of our students on that day.
In closing, we recognize that there are many of our students’ parents and guardians who will not have the ability to work from home these coming days, especially those who serve our communities as police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and other first responders, or those who work to keep our streets clean and our homes warm and well-lighted. We want to thank them their work and we hope that they will be safe and healthy in their responsibilities and travels.
We ask everyone to keep those who go without adequate shelter in their prayers, and we ask our students to keep an eye on their families and neighbors who might need some additional help and attention at this time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Please stay safe and warm, and we look forward to returning to the Home of the Shamrocks on Friday!
