SAINT PATRICK HIGH SCHOOL APPOINTS KEVIN GOLDEN ’05 AS CHIEF OF STAFF AND OPERATIONS
April 28, 2022
(Chicago, IL, April 29, 2022) – Saint Patrick High School is proud to announce that Kevin Golden, a 2005 graduate of the premier all-boys Catholic high school in Chicago, has been named Chief of Staff and Operations.
“Kevin is a man of character and faith and bleeds Shamrock Pride,” President Dan Santucci ’02 said. “Entrenched in Catholic education since childhood, Kevin brings a valuable skill set and innate sense for our mission that will contribute greatly to the strong administrative team assembled at Saint Patrick.”
As Chief of Staff and Operations, Kevin will assist with operations and the implementation of strategic plan initiatives. He previously served as a social studies teacher at Saint Patrick from 2009-2012 prior to joining the private sector where he worked in Employee Benefits for two multinational insurance companies over a nine-year span.
In the newly created role, Kevin’s responsibilities will include project management and support for internal and external relationships related to key organizational initiatives across admissions, development, alumni and community relations, business practices and employee experience.
“I love Saint Patrick High School. The faculty, administration, and coaches changed my life, and now to have the opportunity to go back and do the same for other young men across our city is a true blessing,” said Golden. “I look forward to working alongside our president, implementing our strategic plan with an innovative mindset for what the future holds at 5900 W. Belmont.”
Kevin, who is currently finishing his Baumhart Scholars MBA at Loyola University’s Quinlan School of Business, attended St. John Brebauf (Niles), St. Francis Borgia, Saint Patrick and College of the Holy Cross where he played Division I Football. As a student at Saint Patrick, he was a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the football team.
In September, Kevin launched the Green & Gold Society Mentor Program for Saint Patrick graduates. The mission of the Green & Gold Society, which has attracted 60 mentors and 35 mentees in its first year, is to provide opportunities for recent graduates to achieve academic and personal success by combining their four-year, Catholic, Lasallian values-based high school education with the ongoing mentorship and commitment of a caring, professional and inspirational community of alumni.
Kevin will report directly to the president. His official start date is July 1.
