Two Saint Patrick music students have been chosen for All-District Ensembles.
Junior Oscar De Leon was selected to perform with the Illinois Music Education Association’s All District Concert Band, while sophomore James Adamczyk was chosen to perform with the IMEA’s All-District Choir.
Thousands of students from around Chicagoland auditioned for the ensembles recently, but only De Leon, Adamczyk and a select few students were chosen to perform.
The performance will be held this Saturday, Nov. 19, at Elmhurst College. The choir will perform in Hammerschmidt Chapel, on the west side of campus, at 3 p.m. The band will perform in Faganel Hall, on the northeast side of campus, at 4 p.m.
