Shamrocks Face Mt. Carmel Caravan in Super-Sectional Final

The Saint Patrick High School Shamrocks are looking to make history. On Monday, March 10, the Shamrock Basketball Team will take the court at the University of Illinois Chicago to face the Mt. Carmel Caravan in the Super-Sectional Playoff, with a trip to the IHSA State Tournament on the line.

The Shamrocks have had an impressive 2024-2025 basketball season, boasting an overall record of 27-7. They secured a 6-2 mark in conference play, placing them T-third in their conference. Notably, the team is currently on an 11-game winning streak.

Powered by seniors EJ Breland, Anthony Favia, Naveah Hawkins, Cooper Kavanaugh, and Nathan Nano, the team has been dominant on both ends of the floor. With a Super-Sectional victory, Saint Patrick would punch its ticket to the State Playoffs for the first time in school history.

Led by longtime head coach Mike Bailey, who has guided the program for over 30 years, the Shamrocks are embracing the moment and looking to make their mark.

Tip-off is set for Monday night at UIC at 6:00pm!
