Kori Bowns Science Teacher Kori recently graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Physics Education. In addition to teaching science, she will also serve as a Robotics Mentor at Saint Patrick. |

Scott Ellis Religion Teacher/Service Coordinator Scott has been teaching Theology and coaching baseball and softball in Oklahoma for the past 11 years. He has two children and is excited to carry on the mission of the Christian Brothers. |

Marie Ferentz Science Department Chair/STEM Coordinator Marie has taught Science at Lane Tech College Prep for the last five years, where she also served as that Alpha STEM coordinator. She is currently working on her master’s degree in Biology. |

James Ison Social Studies Teacher James has spent most of his adult life working with youth in education and social services. He is looking forward to getting back in the classroom and helping Saint Patrick’s students succeed. |

James Kline Science Teacher James is entering his fourth year of teaching and comes to Saint Patrick from Huntly High School, where he taught Physics and coached bowling. The Marist High School alumnus graduated from Depaul University and is originally from Orland Park. |

Chris Mourtokokis School Counselor Chris is entering his fourth school year as a high school counselor and comes to Saint Patrick from Cary-Grove High School. He is also an assistant coach on the Shamrocks football team. |

Sanoj Purathur Title I Math Interventionist/Math Teacher Sanoj comes to Saint Patrick with 10 years of teaching experience in Chicago and Philadelphia. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned his master’s degree in education from DePaul University. |

Peter Ruzicka Social Studies Teacher Peter has been teaching social studies in Wisconsin for the last five years. He graduated from Marquette University in 2011, where he was a member of the rugby team. He is teaching U.S. History and World History at Saint Patrick. |

John Schwartzer Science Teacher John is entering his fifth year of teaching and has focused on Biology and Chemistry thus far in his career. He is originally from Virginia, and lived in Washington D.C. before moving to Chicago. |

Angela Weiner Title I Reading Interventionist/ELL Coordinator Angela brings 25 years of experience as a high school English teacher, theatre director and administrator. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and her master’s degree from Northwestern University. Her fiancé is a 1990 Saint Patrick graduate. |
