FILMMAKING CRASH COURSE

FOR 6TH – 8TH GRADE BOYS: A hands-on introduction to filmmaking techniques including: screenwriting, pre- production, storyboards, editing and cinematography. Students will make and edit short music videos and short scenes* using Canon Mark IV DSLR cameras and mics. Students will learn to edit on CapCut, iMovie, and InShot.

*Projects are determined based on enrollment.

Session 1: November 2 – November 23, 9:30am-11:30am
Session 2: January 11 – February 1, 9:30am-11:30am
Registration Fee: $100 per session

All equipment is provided. It is encouraged for students to have iPads or laptops for editing and storyboards but it is not required.
