Dear Parents & Students,
Attached are the summary results of the recent cyber learning survey. The informal survey was designed to give parents and students an opportunity to offer feedback about their cyber learning experience and provide suggestions for improvement. Our administration is using the data to help improve the cyber learning experience as we continue to prepare for a variety of scenarios for the 2020-21 school year.
2020-2021 School Year
As previously communicated, we are preparing for several different possible scenarios for the 2020-21 school year. Our goal, and hope, is to return to in-person learning in the fall. Please be assured any decision regarding our return to in-person learning will be driven by protecting the health, safety and well-being of our students and faculty/staff. As a reminder, the possible scenarios for the 2020-21 academic year include:
Return to In-Person Learning
In accordance with state and health officials regulations, this would entail returning to the building for in-person learning with no restrictions. Note: There are also scenarios where the school calendar may need to be adjusted and or involve adaptations such as temperature checks, masks or social distancing
Hybrid Learning (Combination of Cyber Learning and In-Person Learning)
Based on state and health officials guidelines and group restrictions, there is a possibility of combined cyber learning and opportunities for limited in-person learning which, again, may involve adaptations including temperature checks, masks and social distancing.
Continuation of Cyber Learning
Similar to the cyber learning we adapted this spring with modifications and improvements based on survey results.
Although there is still a lot of uncertainty, we are prepared to address all possible scenarios, and look forward in hopeful anticipation to when we will all be together again.
