Dear Saint Patrick Board, Alumni, Family and Friends,
I hope this finds you and your loved ones staying safe and healthy. I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to the greater Shamrock community as we all continue to find ways to connect and come together during this unprecedented time in our world.
As we continue to monitor the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please know that the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff remains our highest priority. At Saint Patrick High School, we are fortunate to have already had Cyber Day procedures in place which made it a smoother transition for our faculty and students this week. Our administration continues to meet virtually on a regular basis, sometimes daily, to reevaluate our schedule and adjust as needed so that we may offer additional resources for our teachers and families as we move forward.
We are also communicating regularly with families and have created a dedicated page on our website which includes past communications and additional resources. We invite you to stay up to date with our response to the ongoing situation at: https://www.stpatrick.org/
At Saint Patrick, we are blessed with the finest Board, faculty, staff, administration, families, students, alumni and friends and we have seen many examples of that already as we all continue to work together to do what’s best for our school and the young men who attend our institution. Although we miss seeing our students every day in the hallways and in the classrooms, we are keeping them close in our hearts and prayers. We continue to pray for our young men and their families and find additional ways to connect and support them.
We also continue to pray for all those impacted by this virus including our caregivers, doctors, and nurses who are caring for them, and especially for those who are without access to medical and community support, along with our first responders, many of whom are a part of the Shamrock family.
I want to personally thank all of you who are maintaining a positive spirit through all this and remembering us in your thoughts and prayers. We will get through this together as we do all things at Saint Patrick – as a family.
We are here for you if we can support you in any way. Please feel free to reach out to any of us at any time.
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us. Live, Jesus, in our hearts. Forever!
With love and respect,
Dr. Joe
