Saint Patrick High School is pleased to announce the following Shamrocks have been named Students of the Month for February 2020.
Name: Kenton Doyle ’23 (St. Celestine), Paddy Lewis ’21 (Mary Seat of Wisdom), Jeff Schultz ’20 (St. Robert Bellarmine), James Stowell ’21 (St. Cornelius), Jack Warner ’20 (St. Mary of the Woods)
Reason for Nomination: This team of dependable students consistently produced webcasts of our school’s varsity basketball games during this season. They were the behind-the-scenes Shamrocks who enabled hundreds of students, parents, alumni, and friends of St. Patrick to watch our varsity basketball games on the Internet this season. This group of student volunteers organized the show’s format, prepared commentary, did research, conducted half-time interviews, conducted pre-game interviews, and worked together well to produce a quality show – all on their personal time and by their choice.
Name: Kuan Chen ’20 (International Student), Sean Collins ’20 (Saint Juliana), Dominic Maciejewski ’20 (Our Lady of Victory), Vincent Marrero ’22 (Dever), Anthony Perez ’22 (Our Lady of Grace), Miguel Ramos ’20 (Pulaski)
Reason for Nomination: This small group of artists use their class time well and produce original works of art for their portfolios. Because they are efficient in the classroom and have a desire to ‘more,” they are working together to deconstruct, sand, paint and reassemble furniture for the Green and Gold Gala. Their willingness to embrace a project, jump in to help, and follow through with a task has turned them into a great creative team and students to celebrate.
